Gaynor Sinar has served as a Cheshire West & Chester Borough Councillor from 2011 to 2019 and again since 2023, where she represents Davenham, Moulton and Kingsmead.

Gaynor is the Chair of the Weaver Vale Conservative Federation, whcih covers the constituences of Mid Cheshire and Runcorn & Helsby.
