After losing his niece to cancer earlier this year, our member and former Helsby Councillor, Alan Mckie, is going to climb Mount Everest in order to raise money for Claire’s House Children’s Hospice. All charities are finding it difficult to fundraise in the current climate, but at 78 years of age, Alan is showing us all how it’s done. Please dig deep and support him. We all wish him well.
